Open tutoring is one-on-one help without a standing weekly commitment. Book a 50-minute session when something comes up mid-term, when a test is coming, or when college application essays land on the kitchen table.
WHAT OPEN TUTORING IS
One session. One student. One thing to work on.
Open Tutoring is exactly what it sounds like — an open block of my time that any family can reserve, one session at a time. No intake, no assessment, no semester-long plan. You tell me what your student is stuck on, and we spend fifty minutes working on it together.
It's the same approach I bring to every student at Slayer Academy: meet them where they are, break the work into steps they can actually take, and send them off knowing they can take the next one on their own.

WHAT A SESSION LOOKS LIKE
Fifty minutes, one-on-one.
Tell me what your student is working on when you book, and I'll come ready for it. The session belongs to that work — not to a curriculum I planned in advance. Students leave with the assignment in hand and a strategy for the next piece of it.
Sessions are one-on-one, in Davis County, Utah.
HOW BOOKING WORKS
Reserve your time.
50 minutes — $25 per session
Weekday times available through December 16, 2026
Payment by Venmo
Payment reserves the time and is due when you book
Payment instructions are included with your booking confirmation
Appointments booked without payment are canceled after 24 hours
If Venmo doesn't work for your family, please reach out.
IF PLANS CHANGE
Twenty-four hours is the line.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the session and I'll refund the block in full. Inside that window, or for a missed session, there isn't enough time to offer the slot to another family, so it isn't refunded. Illness, family emergency, and weather are always exceptions.
